Locked door
As a mother, it just breaks my heart to see my children cry when they get hurt or scared as I am sure is the same with you if you have kids. Well, I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I heard my youngest start crying. You really don't think much about it right away if it is just a general cry, so I told him to come into the living room and tell me what happened. He kept crying but he was not coming so I got up to see what was wrong. Their bedroom door was closed with him inside and as I tried to enter I realized that the door was locked from inside. I heard him continue to cry as he tried to open the door. I was attempting to calm him down and tell him how to unlock the door to no avail. He started to cry harder as I attempted to get the door open because we do not have keys for the bedroom doors. So, now he was really screaming, my other son was crying because his brother was scared and I was getting nervous because I could not get the door opened. After 30 minutes I called my husband to see what I needed to do to open the door. He told me not to worry about any damage and just to bust it down. Luckily I was able to bust the door open and get him out so I could comfort him and all he kept saying was "I scared mommy, I scared". It broke my heart to see him so frightened and crying! Thankfully it was just a locked door. I don't have to worry anymore because I damaged the door knob getting in and now it will not lock, HA, take that door knob! :)
